Margaret Laupus, Class of 1954, created a scrapbook to remember her time at the State Teachers College at Towson (TSC). This dinner place card was created for her when she attended a Freshmen Advisory Council dinner.
Special Collections and University Archives has a small collection of student-created scrapbooks, some of which are over 100 years old. They give us a glimpse into what students treasured about their time at the school and a sense of the world in which they lived. They hold photos, mementos, copies of classwork, artwork, fliers about dances or other special events. Each one is as unique as the person who created it.
