Administrative Assistant II (Contractual)

Description:

Towson University’s Albert S. Cook Library is seeking an Administrative Assistant II who will provide varied and complex office support to the Library Administration. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of the library as well as skill and judgement in working with issues related to policy, procedures, and confidential matters. This role handles the day-to-day work that keeps the department running from office supply management to scheduling meetings, coordinating conference room and space reservations, and maintaining content on the library website. The position also plays a key role in building support and directly supports Cook Library’s leadership team.

This is a contractual position starting at $22.41 per hour, with holidays, sick days, and eligibility for subsidized health benefits for those working 30+ hours per week. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and two years of administrative support experience; a bachelor's degree in English, communication, or a related field is preferred.
