Divre Mordekhai is a volume of rabbinic responsa to legal questions based on the Code of Jewish Law (Shulhan arukh). It was written by Mordekhai Friedburg and published in Warsaw, Poland in 1867. The volume includes a eulogy for the author’s father and is prefaced by letters of endorsement by several prestigious rabbis in Europe. This engraving of a contemporary wooden synagogue appears at the end of the volume.
The library copy is bound with a similar book of responsa by Shelomoh Dov Ha-Cohen Shprintz entitled She'elot u'teshuvot Leshad Ha-shemen. It was originally published in Warsaw in 1879.
