Peer Research Assistance and Instruction

  • Covered 12 hours a week of research assistance at the library (including instant message chat) and at the Writing Center answering over 280 questions.
  • Assisted with or led 18 different library sessions for:

    • Student groups/ programs
    • Campus departments

Outreach and Marketing

  • Led university outreach projects with:
  • Represented the library at various events
    • Academic Resource Fairs
    • TU4U
    • Towson Open House
    • Welcome to Towson Orientation
    • Honors Orientation
  • Developed marketing material to advertise the A-LIST research assistance program including:
    • Designed t-shirts
    • Signage
    • Wrote, directed and filmed commercial

Library Projects

  • Helped design and implement an ethnographic study on library space use
  • Developed and participated in library contests and events
  • Organized and curated three theme-based library displays
  • Assisted with the new TU Investment Group collection
  • Expanded our social media
