Early catalogs list each year's graduates, faculty and staff, and include historical information about the school and its many locations. A selection of some of the most recent undergraduate and graduate catalogs is available online.
David A. Sherbow Popular Music Collection
Books in this collection consist of of nonfiction works about popular music history, music business, and the recording industry. Beyond biographical material on performing artists, popular music genres, and industry overviews, subjects covered in this collection include: artist management, songwriting technique and marketing, record promotion, legal aspects of the music industry, and popular music journalism.

Joan Jacobson Dance Collection
The books in this collection span the 20th century and include biographies and memoirs of many of its dance legends: Isadora Duncan, Martha Graham, Ruth St. Denis, Merce Cunningham, Judith Jamison, Alvin Ailey, Margot Fonteyn, Rudolf Nureyev, Vaslav Nijinsky, Agnes de Mille, Tamara Karsavina, Anna Pavlova, Fred Astaire, August Bournonville, George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, and Frederick Ashton.
Collections of unpublished personal or family papers or non-University organizational records that may include a variety of material types including letters, subject files, photographs, typescripts, personal diaries, meeting minutes, speeches, scrapbooks, printed works, etc. Materials in manuscript collections can be assembled by a person, organization, or repository from a variety of sources.
Over 12,000 photographic prints, slides, and negatives documenting nearly all facets of campus life. A selection of these photographs is available online and new photographs are added daily.

Collection of a number of leather- or cloth-bound volumes from the 19th and early 20th centuries, including limited-production original prints on subjects such as art, history, education and literature.
Student Literary Magazines
Complete run of student literary magazines in print from 1952 to the present. Today known simply as Grub Street, literary magazines on campus were published under a number of titles including the Publication (1952-1956), the Towers (1957-1960), the Talisman (1961-1976), Grub Street wit (1976-1989), and finally Grub Street (1990-present).
Complete run of the student newspaper, The Towerlight and its predecessor, The Oriole, in print from 1921 through the present. Paper indexes available for issues from 1921 through December 1996. This collection is in the process of being fully digitized. Currently, the most recent issues are also available online as full-text searchable electronic issues.
Theses & Dissertations
Collection of department directed research work used as final projects for graduate and doctoral candidates. Please check the library catalog, as there may be circulating copies available. Beginning with the Fall of 2011, theses and dissertations may be available electronically depending on copyright.

Digital collection of Cook Library's inaugural oral history project which records the impressions of incoming freshmen and transfer students.
Student yearbooks in print from the early 1900s to the present. The yearbook, now known as the Tower Echoes, went by a number of names including the Aletheia, Normalyte, Daisy, Crystal, Au Revoir, Priority, and White & Gold.
